But we do know what they’ll need.

Curiosity. Confidence. Creativity. Collaboration. The ability to think, adapt, problem-solve, and keep learning.

Project-based learning invites students to look closer.

As we study the story of our valley, our students are diving into its plants, animals, people, land, history, and ecosystems. They are making connections that they may have never stopped to notice before.

Because the goal isn’t simply to learn about our valley. It’s to grow students who are curious, observant, and connected to the world around them…now and wherever life takes them next.

The first week of school doesn’t have to be about getting straight to work.

Sometimes, the most important work is building the community that makes everything else possible.

So we start our year together…outside.

Our schoolwide campout gives students time to play, explore, connect, take on little risks, and simply be together.

Because before we ask kids to learn together, we want them to know they belong together.

Sometimes, the most important work is building the community that makes everything else possible.
