This is my 3¾-year-old granddaughter, Sophia, working on letter formation with the Lowercase Alphabet Rhymes by Teaching Mama. The printable is included in the Preschool Alphabet and Literacy Bundle. The photo shows just a few of the letters I focused on. This isn't the order I use to introduce sandpaper letters, and I wouldn't use this activity for initial introductions to beginning sounds. But it's magic for both my grandkids now! While Sophia and Caleb don't tend to focus on following the exact letter formation with the sandpaper letters, they both were fascinated by the rhymes and followed the rhymes to trace the letters exactly. I had used Elmer's Washable Color Glue to follow the letter line on each letter. When dried, it made a nice smooth texture for tactile letters (and was super easy to do). I did this work with Sophia first. Caleb asked to do the letters later, and wanted to do them all more than once.

So even though they aren't mainly Montessori-style resources, the printables in the bundles are often activities that work well as fun supplements to Montessori activities. I find this especially helpful for home education activities. Games and creative activities add interest when children don't have a group of peers working on the same concepts. You don't need to use every printable (or even a majority of them) to make it more than worth the price of the bundle!
