It's nice to see the leadership of our high school students during our Monday morning Kick Start. Younger students are starting to help lead out too. We encourage and teach our older students to lead out, and mentor the younger students in their Ohana families.
I spotted the beautiful red flower pictures, from art class, outside the 6th-8th classroom.

Visited the preschool today, and loved the cute artwork. Thought I would share it with you!

Our lower grade classrooms & hall are decorated with scarecrows, butterflies, clouds with rainbows and some creative work from our 3rd to 5th grade classroom.
It's nice after a quiet summer in the school, that the halls are filled with student voices and their artwork again.

We are so excited to greet students and their families tomorrow at our Back-to-School day, from 1-5 PM!

Teachers, staff and volunteers are preparing the school to welcome you back!
The first and most important thing we did, was having our Prayer Walk on Monday. We went around and prayed in every area and prayed for all the staff and students who will be here.

We are getting things ready for starting a new school year soon. Thank you to these wonderful gentlemen who are working on the powerwashing today.
There are more cleaning items that need to be done, to help the teachers to get ready for the first day of school like:
Windows washed
counters, tables, desks and lockers wiped down
Contact the office or stop by during the week.

I was on vacation the last 2 weeks, and just got back on Tuesday from Texas. It was a hot 104 F. with very high humidity. It was fun seeing lots of family.
What have you been doing this summer! We look forward to seeing all of you soon!
