MS. BUSH, 5th Grade
Hello! My name is Ms. Bush and I am so excited to begin my first year as a teacher! I have always loved working with children and am looking forward to creating a classroom where students feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and making memories with my family. I can't wait to get to know my students and families and make this a wonderful year full of learning, growth, and fun!
MRS. CLYDE, 2nd-3rd, 5th-8th Religion
Hello! My name is Sarah Clyde, and I am excited to teach Religion to your children in grades 2–3 and 5–8. After leaving the corporate world in 2020 to focus on my family, I discovered a passion for religious education. I am also going back to school to get my degree in Elementary Education and K-12 Special Education, and I will be graduating this Fall. I spent fouryears assisting with Sacrament preparations at a Catholic school in Oregon before moving to Chehalis in 2024. Since then, I have served as the Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation at St. Joseph Parish, managing religious education for our entire community. This area has been dear to my heart since 2009, when my parents relocated to Winlock. When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my husband and daughter, doing home renovations, watching Oregon Duck’s football, and gathering with friends and family. I look forward to a wonderful year of spiritual growth with your students!
MS. SHOBLOM, 6th-8th Math & Science
My name is Britan Shoblom, and I'm excited to continue my work in education and get to know my students throughout the school year. I have experience teaching science and enjoy helping students understand new concepts and connect what they're learning to the world around them. I attended Chehalis High School and continued my education at Centralia College. Outside of the classroom, I have always enjoyed spending time with animals and being outdoors, which has contributed to my interest in science. I strive to create a classroom that is welcoming, supportive, and engaging. I'm looking forward to a great year of learning, growth, and getting to know each of my students!
MR. SHARP, 4th-8th P.E. & 6th-8th Music
My name is Dylan Sharp and I'll be teaching middle school P.E. and music. With my knowledge of health/fitness and passion for music I am thrilled to spend my first year at St. Joe's. Some of my interests are shiny cardboard and shiny rocks.
