Happy mother's day to all of the wrestling moms.

Day 2 of the battle of buffalo we had Sasha and Connor compete and was joined by Louis from the modified team. We got mix results today however all three boys wrestled hard today.

Louis lead the team with 3rd place finish. Sasha ended up taking 4th and Connor ended up losing in consi-semi finals in OT.

It was a great day of wrestling.

After almost two years off the mat both Keller and Kaden place 4th at the battle of buffalo at WNY Wrestling Academy

We took Connor and Sasha to the war zone tournament we went perfect 10-0 on the day both boys wrestled awesome the future is bright for the flyers wrestling. Awesome tournament at WNY Wrestling Academy. Now let's go Bills

Information on NYWAY state tournament looks like their will be no regionals and anyway in the state can register for it.

Another local tournament for anyone looking to get some mat time this year.

Now for a little boasting as a father I cant begin to say how proud I'm of him busting his butt off and putting the work in. Today Connor got his 50 win in youth wrestling. It took a little longer then we expected and by no means this is our final goal as we have big goals and steps we want to achieve in the next couple of years.

The two drilling partners where back at it again. They both had a awesome tournament today. Also both unofficial wrestled there first varsity matches. Didn't get the outcome they expected in the match against kid but they both held there own against him. Was great day at the mats and great time to get back to what we love to do in the winter.

Two of are youth club members will be wrestling at the w.a.r zone tournament tomorrow from 9:30 to 11:30 at wny wrestling academy. Connor and Sasha are ready to sure what flyers nation youth is all about. Anyone wanting to watch it's $5 dollars admission for this tournament. Let's go Flyers.

Although we are not currently practicing if any wrestlers are practice at other clubs I will try my best to post any tournaments I find out that are happening in this area as they will be in the event section. Remember at the end of the day our goal as organization is to grow section 6 youth wrestling in this area so we can grow section 6 wrestling in high school.

I hope everyone had good Thanksgiving and while I'm holding out on silm chance we might be able to get into the wrestling room in January I don't want the kids who are interested in wrestling to not know about these alternative options to be able to wrestle.

Bison wrestling club is opening back up classes on Tuesday and Thursday will require nyway membership card which is $17 dollars and then it's $10 dollars per practice to drop in.

New club in the area WNY Wrestling academy is also open it's $20 dollars for drop ins $125 dollars a month for all wrestling class and fitness classes that they offer see attached flyer.

Due to a situation out of our control we unfortunately will not be having a season this upcoming year. For the kids or parents that have reached out to I'm very upset that we once again will not be able to offer wrestling this year. However I will be looking at other clubs to see if we can get the few kids that where interested in wrestling to join up together so we at least are together even if it's.a different club this year.

Looks like we might be able to have a season this year just depends on what the covid protocols are going to be for the upcoming season.

So some bad news as of today doesn't look like we will be able to use the schools wrestling room. So we once again most likely will not be having a season through maryvale. However if kids want to get some mat time we can start going to bisons or we can try the new wny wrestling academy that is opening up.

Just a little words for the morning

Just wondering if the covid restrictions get lifted for this upcoming winter how many kids do we have that want to get back on the mat for this winter.

With erie county dept of health recent response or should I say no response in regards to high school wrestling I don't feel optimistic that we will have a season this winter. Hopefully things change for the positive over the next 4 months so we can start making needed planning to start our season. But we are at the mercy of the erie county dept of health on this one.

As of right now have some bad news doesn't look like we will have access to wrestling gym for this season. Am looking into other options for the kids that want to wrestle this year

Please reach out to me if you plan on having you child wrestle this season as I trying to find alternative clubs to join for the season.

I hope everyone is doing well. Please keep eye on our page if we get the okay to go back to wrestling we will start back up in mid November. Also looking for any adult who is willing to volunteer there time to help coach these great kids.

Practice is cancelled tonight sorry for the short notice school is being cautious due to cornovirius therefore no outside organization are allow to practice at the school. With that being said I will try to get information out as soon as I know about the state tournament.
With in the next couple weeks maybe get the kids that together to go to get air or something similar as end of year celebration.
