The Senior National Honor Society recently celebrated its annual sendoff picnic at Losson Park. After continued monitoring of the weather forecast, we are planning to hold tonight's graduation ceremony outdoors on the football field at Gerald Hickson Stadium. To allow additional time for the expected weather to move through the area, the ceremony will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Please note the following adjusted schedule:

Graduates should report to the High School by 6:00 p.m.
Stadium gates will open for families at 6:30 p.m.
If the forecast takes a significant turn and conditions are no longer favorable, the ceremony will move indoors to the High School Auditorium and begin at 7:00 p.m.

High School Challenge Club students recently partnered with UPK students at Union East for a fun ocean-themed craft activity! The collaboration came at the perfect time, as the UPK students had just completed their ocean unit. Together, the students created colorful ocean crafts while building connections across grade levels. It was a wonderful opportunity for learning, creativity, and teamwork, leaving smiles on the faces of both our youngest learners and their high school mentors.

The Chargers Traditional Special Olympic Training club participated in the Special Olympic Final Frame New York State Bowling Tournament this past weekend. The first ever state bowling tournament to be held. The Chargers represented well in the singles round that took place in the morning, with Jihamri earning Bronze, Angelo earning bronze, Adrian earning 5th place, and Micah bringing home the gold.

In the team event the Chargers brought home silver, losing a tight battle from a great team from the Bronx.
