The Cheboygan Area Arts Council (CAAC) has offered quality dance instruction at the historic Opera House since 1986.

Students may enroll in fun & enriching classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and musical theater.

💃✨ FALL SESSION REGISTRATION ✨🕺

CAAC Dance Fall classes are now available to all students for registration! Our Fall Session runs September 14 - December 18, with a Holiday Showcase performance on December 12.

📍 Dance classes take place in the Cheboygan Opera House dance studios (enter via the City Hall doors).

🐙 UPDATED CAMP! 🐠

🦈 Our Under the Sea camp has proven to be so popular with our little dancing fish that we've decided to add one more before the end of summer!

🪸 Ages 3-6 are welcome at our final camp of the summer season. Journey into the deep sea during this magical underwater adventure. Make a splash during our Under the Sea Dance Camp, where dancers will discover creative activities, storytime, snacks, games, & sea-themed fun.

🧜‍♀️ Your child will dance like mermaids, sharks, & sea creatures while building coordination & imagination along the way! Throughout the camp experience, dancers will build confidence, creativity, & expressive movement skills in an engaging & age-appropriate environment.

🩰 Adult Ballet this Thursday! 🩰

Join Ms. Kara and fellow ballet enthusiasts at the Cheboygan Opera House Dance Studio for an hour of comfortable ballet. All levels of dance experience are welcome!

Use the middle "City Hall" doors to enter, then take 2 flights of stairs straight up.

🏰 We had some much fun at our first day of our Enchanted Kingdom Dance Camp today!

This enchanting group of Tiny Tots listened to a story, danced, used their magical powers, went on a shape search, made castles out of different shapes, and practiced lots of balancing!

Registration is now open for our summer dance camps! Campers will enjoy age-appropriate dance instruction, crafts, games, snacks and lots of fun!

Each camp will meet Monday-Friday from 10am-12pm at the Cheboygan Opera House dance studio.
