Doughnut Day in Mrs. Webb's 2nd grade! This is the sixth annual "Doughnut Creation Contest" that 2nd graders take part in as an end of the year project.
Students are asked to create a special doughnut design, and then describe it's ingredients and taste and write a creative piece to convince doughnut lovers to pick their unique recipe and design!
This year, Alaina Morris won the contest! Tasty Donuts also took time to create each student's doughnuts that they created. The students were presented with their own edible creation at this morning's event!
Thank you, Mrs. Webb and Tasty Donuts for making this a special event for them!
Finally, they all received a special book that had many memories and photos, art, class work and more to commemorate and celebrate their 2nd grade accomplishments!
This is what we mean when we say, our teachers go above and beyond in all that they do! We may not see the special things from each room, but it is happening for the kiddos!

Congratulations to Jeffrey Stubblefield, BCA elementary alumni! He received a special academic award from McCallie this week! We're so proud of our students, past and present!

As we continue celebrating all of our graduates this season, we also want to recognize BCA 8th grade alumni, class of 2018, for their recent college graduations! Evan McIntyre graduated from Tennessee Tech from the Computer Science College of Engineering. (We know Mrs. Sara, our PK4 teacher is super proud of her son!) Giorgi Cardillo graduated with a degree in Marketing/Professional Sales from UTC, Gary W. Rollins College of Business.
(We remember her mother, Mrs. Audra, who also worked in our business office for many years!)
We are so proud of you, Evan and Giorgi!! You've gone from PK4 graduation, 8th and 12th grade graduation to finishing University! We know you'll go far in your career life, and more importantly, in your life to serve others and Christ, as we taught you at BCA!
