Big things are happening at Chattanooga College!

Chattanooga College is proud to announce the appointment of Tiffany Skinner, DNP, RN, APRN, APN-BC, as our new Dean of Nursing and Health Sciences.

With more than 25 years of experience in nursing, healthcare leadership, and higher education, Dr. Skinner is a doctorally prepared nursing executive, academic leader, and advanced practice nurse with extensive expertise in nursing education leadership, healthcare innovation, accreditation readiness, curriculum development, faculty leadership, and student success initiatives. Her background spans undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral nursing education, with a strong focus on advancing academic quality, clinical judgment development, and NCLEX success strategies.

In addition to her academic leadership, Dr. Skinner is the founder of Trusted Counsel Solutions, LLC, a consulting firm focused on nursing education strategy, healthcare leadership, accreditation readiness, healthcare technology transformation, and AI governance. Her innovative and forward-thinking approach brings tremendous value to Chattanooga College’s expanding Nursing and Health Sciences programs.

Dr. Skinner has served as a reviewer for the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and as a Tennessee Board of Nursing liaison supporting competency-based education initiatives and academic quality advancement. Her Doctor of Nursing Practice scholarly work focused on vaccination education and evidence-based cancer prevention strategies designed to improve population health outcomes. Her passion for academic excellence and commitment to preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals aligns perfectly with Chattanooga College’s mission of making a meaningful difference in students’ lives.
