Here's some more finds from my research..
Stopping eating at 7pm and eating at 11am the next day activates the Nobel Prize-winning cellular cleaning process that removes pre-cancerous debris.
Yoshinori Ohsumi received the 2016 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for characterising the molecular mechanisms of autophagy — the cellular self-cleaning process that activates during fasting and removes the damaged cellular components that, if left accumulated, contribute to cancer initiation and accelerated aging.
The activation timeline: autophagy begins intensifying after approximately 12-14 hours of fasting, reaching significant activity in the 16-18 hour window. For most Americans, a 7pm dinner stop and 11am first meal achieves this window during sleep and morning — the lowest-sacrifice approach to the Nobel Prize-winning intervention.
What autophagy specifically removes during a 16-hour fast:
PRE-CANCEROUS CELLULAR DEBRIS: Damaged DNA, abnormal protein aggregates, and intracellular pathogens that could contribute to malignant transformation are cleared before they can accumulate toward cancer initiation.

I Used doTERRA Lavender Tonight… and My Heart’s Secret Code Did Something I’ve Never Seen Before 💜⌚
I have been watching my HRV lately because, honestly, it has been low.
Most of the time my Apple Watch HRV has been around 18–25 ms.
Lately I have been exercising more, especially Zone 2, and I started seeing it move up a little — around 24–25 ms.
But tonight I used Lavender oil before bed…
And then I looked at my Apple Watch.
44–45 ms.
I literally stopped and looked again. 😳
Now, before anyone says “miracle oil!” — no. That is not what I am saying.
But here is what I am saying:
HRV is one of the most fascinating numbers your body gives you.
HRV stands for Heart Rate Variability.
It is not your heart rate.
It is the tiny variation in time between your heartbeats.
A healthy, adaptable body does not beat like a robot:
boom… boom… boom… boom…
A healthier nervous system has flexibility:
boom… pause… boom… tiny shift… boom…
That flexibility is called HRV.
Higher HRV is usually associated with better recovery, better stress resilience, better sleep recovery, and stronger parasympathetic activity — the “rest and digest” side of the nervous system.
Lower HRV can happen when the body is under pressure:
→ Poor sleep.
→ Stress.
→ Alcohol.
→ Illness.
→ Dehydration.
→ Overtraining.
→ Emotional overload.
→ Too much sympathetic “fight or flight” mode.
So when my number jumped from my usual 18–25 range to 44–45 after using Lavender, I got curious.
Then I checked the research.
And yes — lavender inhalation has been studied for HRV.
Some studies show lavender inhalation may support parasympathetic activity and improve HRV markers like SDNN, RMSSD, and HF power.

In my 42nd year as a cosmetologist I've experienced some memorable moments. Yesterday, I had TWO! First a new client who was eleven came in for a haircut. She said I want a butterfly cut. Well, I gave her the cut and as soon as I began to blow-dry her hair she had a big smile on her face..that was reward enough..but when when I finished styling her hair, she enthusiastically expressed..."I love it!" When she got out of my chair she did a little dance and took some selfies! It truly made my day!
Later I had a fellow stylist whom I worked with many years ago come in as a client for me to cut her hair. If you're a stylist you understand that when fellow stylist comes into a salon as a client to have their haircut that's a big deal. We don't do that and if we do getting pampered by someone else is a big treat! From getting your hair shampooed, cut, colored, styled, etc.
I hadn't seen this person in about 25 years. We had lots of catching up to do! What a special day at the salon it was for me!

I am deeply grateful for the gift of mercy. This gift from The Holy Spirit has been with me my entire life. It has opened my heart to see people and all living creatures through the lens of compassion, allowing me to be a blessing in their lives and, in turn, receive blessings I never expected. Mercy has taught me to respond with kindness even when it’s not easy, to extend grace where others might withhold it.
But, this beautiful gift can take a toll and I had to learn that mercy, when unguarded, can leave you vulnerable. Carrying the weight of others’ pain without boundaries can drain the spirit. Over time, I discovered that processing mercy means balancing empathy with wisdom—loving others without losing myself. In my past I spent time in counseling with a preacher and when we talked about this gift his response was "This can be a blessing and a curse." Galatians 6:2 and Galatians 6:5. While I continue to deeply feel others suffering, including both physical and emotional I can process these experiences much better with God's help and therefore allowing mercy to flow through me in a way that uplifts rather than depletes, bringing peace to both my heart and those I serve.
Mercy is a spiritual gift given by the Holy Spirit, enabling believers to show compassionate, empathetic, and selfless care for those in need.
Definition and Biblical Basis
The spiritual gift of mercy is a God-given ability, imparted by the Holy Spirit, to sense the emotional, physical, or spiritual needs of others and respond with cheerful, compassionate action (Romans 12:6-8)
It goes beyond mere sympathy; it is love in action, addressing suffering, loneliness, or injustice with practical help and encouragement
The Greek term for mercy, eleeō, means “to help one afflicted” or “to bring help to the wretched,” highlighting its active, service-oriented nature
Characteristics of the Gift

After praying for one full year about pursuing yoga training the answer was yes..I completed my 200hr yoga training in 2011 and since then I have continued to be led and pursued numerous certifications. Not only in "yoga" but healing energy.
As listed below you can read some of the topics covered in this course. While this one was completed in 2022 everything I learned is still relevant.
All the commitments of my time and resources for this and other certifications are so that I can better serve those who reach out to me, whether it's for a private yoga session or a healing energy session. All of information I learned is incorporated and cumulative within all the professional modalities that are offered.
The topics covered were, The Human Biofield, Music and Sound for Healing Energy, Meditation for Health and Healing Energy, Energy Medicine Therapies, Therapeutic Touch, Healing Touch, Reiki, Reflexology, Healing Carniosacral Therapy, Qigong and Acupuncture as Healing Medicine.
I had two new hair clients yesterday. A daughter and her mother. The mother who turns 95 today...and is in great physical and mental health shared with me that part of her daily routine is practicing yoga! At that point she had no idea that I am a yoga instructor. To say I was impressed is an understatement and of course was delighted to hear her share how practicing yoga for many has her maintain her overall wellbeing.
