Chattanooga State Dental Hygiene Clinic The Clinic is a learning facility for dental hygiene students and dental assisting students at Chattanooga State Community College.

Chattanooga State’s Dental Clinic is a hygiene clinic only; we only do cleanings and x-rays. All of our appointments last approximately three to four hours. You will not be worked on the whole time, but you will be here about that long. It may take more than one appointment to complete your treatment.

*** We do not see patients during the summer months

Oral Examination

Adult Prophylaxis (cleaning) – age 13+
Child Prophylaxis (cleaning) – age 4-12
Fluoride
Periodontal Scaling & Root Planing/Quads
Sealants
X-rays – full mouth series (19 films), periapical,
intraoral occlusal, bitewings, panoramic

Congratulations especially to our Dental Hygiene students who have had a big week… Pinning Ceremony on Wednesday evening, clinical board exams this morning, and graduation ceremony this afternoon. Only one more big hurdle (national board exam) and you’re done!

BTW… 100% pass rate on the clinical board exams!! 🎉🥳🎊

You have all worked very hard to get where you are and faculty and staff are SOOO PROUD of all of you and how far you have come! I’m sure big things are in store for each of you.
