East Lake Community PTA

Crabtree Farms has free community garden beds available for our neighbors living in the 37407 and 37410 zip codes.

- Program open to gardeners of all skill levels - we learn from each other!

- Garden season runs year round. Official Kickoff End of April.

- Raised beds are 4x8ft. 30 beds total. Safe, quality soil.

- Shared field space available for larger food items like corn, squash, watermelon, flowers.

- Some seeds & plant starts provided. Farm staff available for general support.

- Monthly potlucks!

Come be a part of our family and grow yummy, fresh, healthy produce on the farm all year long. These beds are open for use by individuals, families and community groups. Interested? Gardens For Good - Nature's Path Our Gardens for Good grants support community garden projects to grow organic food and nourish their communities. This year we’ve expanded our support to give 22 gardens $5,000 each.

Join PTA on Tuesday, March 8 at 5:30 at Crabtree Farms to learn more about the Parent Ambassador Program!

Participants will receive a free T-shirt, a packet of seeds, and learn about the community garden bed program! This is an amazing opportunity for us to come together to learn about a valuable resource in our community and use what we learn to teach others in our neighborhood!
