Campus may be a little quieter these days, but we're still smiling about the memories from the end of an incredible school year.

Here's a look back at a few special moments from promotions, celebrations, and everyday life at St. Nicholas. Thank you to our students, families, faculty, and staff for making 2025-26 such a wonderful school year.

The Class of 2026 has graduated. ❤️🎓 Yesterday’s Level 7 graduation was filled with songs, prayers, reflection, and a lot of love for this special group of students. After the ceremony, families and friends gathered on the chapel green to celebrate together over lemonade...and yes, Olive Garden breadsticks provided by the Janini family. 🥖

We are so proud of these students and all they have brought to St. Nicholas School. Their leadership, personalities, humor, kindness, and spirit have shaped this community in ways that will last far beyond this year.

No matter where life takes them next, they will always be part of the St. Nicholas family. Our doors are always open for them to come back home.

A legacy of learning. An investment in teachers. A gift that will shape St. Nicholas students for generations to come.

St. Nicholas School is proud to announce the establishment of the Tejani Family Fund, created by Shalin ’94 and Niti Tejani to support teacher professional training, curriculum programming, and program development with a focus on enhancing the student experience.

The family is also launching the Tejani Educator Enrichment Grant for Inspired Teaching and Lifelong Learning, supporting faculty professional growth through conferences, travel, continuing education, and other development opportunities.

We are deeply grateful for the Tejani family’s extraordinary generosity, leadership, and longstanding love for St. Nicholas School.

We wrapped up Teacher Appreciation Week this morning with a special breakfast served by the St. Nicholas School Board of Trustees. From early mornings to the afternoons, our teachers pour so much into the lives of our students every single day, and this week was one small way to celebrate all they give to our community.

A heartfelt thank you to our Board of Trustees and Parent Association for helping make this week so meaningful for our faculty and staff. ❤️

Middle Primary's Ari took his role as “Head of School for the Day” seriously. 😄

Ari spent the day shadowing Mr. McGehee, helping with a morning fire drill, assisting in the front office, greeting students, and yes, getting behind the wheel of the golf cart.

One thing we learned? Mr. McGehee may need to work on his evasive maneuvers.

This experience was offered in our All In for St. Nicholas Auction & Gala in March and gave Ari a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to help lead a school community each day.

As part of our Teacher Appreciation Week celebration, we asked our returning Class of 2019 alumni on Tuesday a simple question: Who was your favorite teacher at St. Nicholas? ❤️

The answers, stories, and smiles said so much about the lasting impact teachers can have on a child’s life long after they leave the classroom.

Our alumni also surprised some of their former teachers with gift cards to their favorite places as a small way to say thank you for the encouragement, care, patience, and guidance they poured into them over the years.

And the appreciation hasn’t stopped there. This week, our current Level 7 students have been drawing the names of their teachers for special gift card surprises of their own as we continue celebrating the incredible faculty and staff who make St. Nicholas what it is.

A huge thank you to our Parent Association for helping make all of this possible. ✨

We love seeing the Reggio Emilia approach continue to shape conversations around early childhood education on a global stage. This week, even Catherine, Princess of Wales, visited Reggio Emilia, Italy, to learn more about the philosophy’s emphasis on creativity, curiosity, relationships, and the child as a capable learner.

At St. Nicholas, our PK3 and Early Learning Center classrooms are inspired by many of these same ideas: hands-on exploration, wonder, collaboration, and learning that begins with the child. ❤️

Teacher Appreciation Week is underway at St. Nicholas, and our faculty and staff are feeling the love. ❤️

We kicked off the week with a Chick-fil-A breakfast on Monday, followed by today’s ice cream truck visit that brought some extra fun to campus. And of course, the Happy Cart has officially started making its rounds, delivering favorite snacks and treats to our faculty and staff all week long.

There’s still more to come, but this week is already serving as a reminder of how grateful we are for the people who pour so much care, creativity, patience, and joy into our students every single day.

A huge thank you to our incredible Parent Association volunteers for helping make this week so special for our faculty and staff. We are so grateful for this community.
