Our Awards Presentation/Promotion/Kindergarten Graduation was a huge success last night. Congratulations to all our students for your accomplishments! We are so proud of you all for your hard work. Last night we had another amazing performance of The Mad Tea Party by our very own talented MHA students. We are so proud of all our performers. A job well done. Thank you to Mrs. Tisdale for her hard work and to everyone who came to enjoy the show! Once again, we had a full house with approximately 115 seats occupied. Woohoo! What a blessing it is to be a part of positively impacting the lives of our students and this community! To God be the glory.

My name is Mark Michaels. I am the music teacher at Michaels Homeschool Academy. It has come to my attention that there is some interest in the Chattanooga area to start a home school marching band. I would be willing to lend my expertise if there's enough interest and support.
I have the ability to choreograph shows and teach students the concepts of performance on the field. I have worked with numerous high school marching bands in Tennessee and Georgia at band camps.

Wow! Our last field trip of the school year was a success. We were told that the yellow aircraft was from 1946. It was so cool. As always, Ryan did an amazing job giving a tour to our group. We appreciate everyone who participated. We also want to thank John and John for allowing our kids to climb in a plane and give the kids a great hands-on experience. Lovely field trip!

Are you looking for an opportunity to encourage your children to serve the community? Michaels Homeschool Academy is partnering with the East Ridge Optimist Club in their annual food drive this year. A collection box for the East Ridge Food Pantry will be placed by the front desk at the entrance to our academy for parents, teachers, students, and anyone who would like to drop off non-perishable items. The box will be located at 5319 Ringgold Road, Suite C, Chattanooga, TN 37412, from May 11th - May 22nd, and will be opened for drop-off during our hours of operation (Mon.-Thurs. 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).
