Each year, the Hamilton County Schools Superintendent delivers the annual "State of the Schools" at the HCC of PTAs October meeting. The Council hosts two training and networking sessions in June and August for local PTA leaders. The Council also hosts an annual Founder's Day luncheon to honor PTA leaders each February. The Council hosts a Principal/PTA Presidents Awards Dinner each May as well. T

If you are interested in supporting special education, there will be a meeting to charter a new Hamilton County Special Education PTA on July 22nd at 6:30pm at Hixson High in the band room. This is a community PTA (not school based) and for anyone who wants to be a part of advocating for special education, helping to empower families, and supporting special education students. We need at least 8 people to form the unit, and we will need passionate people who want to be officers. Please join us at Hixson High on July 22nd!! Go to the back of the school and look for the band room door that has the band logo. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
