We are preparing our students for amazing careers in STEM!

With the support of the TVA STEM award, Wauhatchie teachers were able to provide additional resources this year that will help students prepare for and excel in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Thank you to BVI, and for supporting student learning in meaningful ways and a special shout out to Mr. Bob for bringing STEM learning to life every day in the Wauhatchie woods! 🌳

The Chattanooga Outdoor Festival is one of the best days of the year, bringing together incredible organizations, businesses, and people who love the great outdoors as much as we do 🥾

Wauhatchie will be set up with a fun, forest-inspired activity for children of all ages! Come try it out, say hello, and learn more about our programs, including forest preschool, outdoor elementary, and summer camp 🌳

Wauhatchie Forest School: Nature Education in Chattanooga Wauhatchie Forest School offers nature-immersion education for Preschool to Fifth Grade students at four campuses in the Chattanooga area.

Greetings to the Natural World

Each November, students explore Indigenous cultures and traditions, including the Three Sisters — corn, beans, and squash — an agricultural practice still cultivated and shared today. This learning is brought to life as students prepare a dish and gather for a campus-wide feast, honoring the land, one another, and the generations who have carried this knowledge forward. We're so grateful! 🌽🫘
