Chartered in 1941 as the Beta Epsilon Sigma Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., in 1951 our name was changed to Chattanooga Alumnae Chapter to better reflect the community in which we serve. Some of the programs that the chapter has sponsored in the Chattanooga community include:

Let’s help bring Benjamin home safe!
We are asking our community to come together and support one of our own.
A valued member of our community is searching for her 16-year-old son, Benjamin Brathwaite, who is currently missing. We are sharing this to help bring awareness and extend our reach in hopes of helping the Atlanta Police Department locate him safely.
Benjamin is 6’5” 175 pounds
He was last seen on Monday, April 27, 2026, at his home in the area of Regency Trace SW, around 9:30 PM, wearing black sweatpants, black hoodie, white t-shirt, and black Nike running shoes.
