The Student Nurses Association is a student led organization sponsored by the UTC School of Nursing.
It is a constituent of the Tennessee Association of Student Nurses and the National Student Nurse’s Association. Meetings are held monthly during the academic school year on the first Wednesday of the month at 12:00 pm. Hello fellow nursing students!
This is just a friendly reminder to come out tomorrow, February 1st, to SNA’s first meeting of the semester! The meeting will begin at noon; however, the food will be served at 11:45am. Salsarita’s will be served during this meeting. Also, our very own faculty members, Dr. Gwen Carlton and Dr. Linda Hill will be joining us to elaborate on two blossoming concentrations in Nursing: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) program.
Special surprise: During this meeting, we will have a raffle contest. To be entered into the drawing, one must either “LIKE” SNA on Facebook, or “FOLLOW” SNA on Twitter! The winner of the drawing will be chosen randomly through a computer-generated lottery pick, and he/she will win a FREE SNA sweatshirt! This will be a meeting you won’t want to miss!

Good morning fellow nursing students!
Hopefully this post finds you in good spirits. As you all may know the first SNA meeting of the Spring 2016 semester is near!
However, instead of the meetings being on the first Wednesday of every month, they will now be held on the first Monday of every month. With that being said, come out and join us February 1st at noon for good food and great information.
Some of our very own faculty members will be joining us to talk about the Family Nurse Practitioner(FNP) program and the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist(CRNA)program. There'll be a lot of useful information presented, and you don't want to miss it!

Just a reminder, our last SNA meeting of the semester is tomorrow (November 4th) at 1200, with food being served at 1145. The Chief Nursing Officer of Memorial Hospital will be talking to us about hiring nursing students, so this is not a meeting you want to miss! We will have a sign-up for the new long-sleeved shirts, as well as passing out shirts to those who did not receive theirs at the last meeting. See you all tomorrow!
