Mrs. Duca and Ms. White’s 1st grade classes celebrated their Publishing Party today! Each student wrote and illustrated a page for their class books, bringing their creativity and hard work to life. We are so proud of these newly published authors! 🌟

Yesterday, students explored future possibilities during Career Day! Our guest speakers shared their careers, inspired big dreams, and helped students see how today’s learning connects to tomorrow’s goals. Thank you to our community partners for investing in and inspiring our students! ✨

Our last reading log winners of the school year!

Friday, May 8, we celebrated a Barger legend on her upcoming retirement. With 40 years in the profession over 30 to Hamilton County and 23 years to Barger Academy! Congratulations to Mrs. Wilson-Roberts on your retirement. Thank you for your service! You will be missed! All my Barger alum and all her former students from all over please join us in celebration!!!

Today our hallways were filled with excitement as Brainerd High School seniors and former Barger alum seniors from all over Chattanooga including recent college grads - walked through Barger Elementary in their caps and gowns while our students cheered them on.

Thank you for inspiring our Barger students and reminding them that their future is bright and congrats graduates! 🎓✨

As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to an end, we wrapped it up in true freestyle 90s fashion! The staff definitely rewound it back today, and Principal Johnson came through with her best Ice Cube expression! ❤️
