IT IS TIME. Class of 1986 35 Year Reunion Get Together, Saturday 9/18, 6:00-9:00, at The Daily Ration.
The Short Story: Our reunion is next month and I need to start collecting RSVPs, which means money too, by 8/18. The cost is $55 per person which can be venmoed to me at -Michaud. Your money is your RSVP! Make sure you see my sideways face before paying. Right now that includes beer and wine and heavy hors d'oeuvres. The way the event market is right now most places require a $1,500 food/drink minimum in order to reserve an event on a Saturday. That means I need 35 people paying me SOON before I am comfortable we can make that minimum. Please read The Long Story for more details.

The Long Story: The damn virus has made this event planning a little more difficult. First of all there are a lot of postponed events, now happening in the fall, so they aren’t as willing to negotiate with me. I like this Daily Ration location because of the big outdoor space where we can spread out and not be on top of each other. If we do not have 35 people coming though, I will admit we do not have a Plan B. Plan B was going to be maybe at my house, but honestly I am not sure I am comfortable with that given the number of vaccinated people now with break through infections. (And I mean people I am hearing about locally). So please, if you are coming go ahead and pay me. In the past I was able to refund money in the event you could not come. But with the new minimums and deposits I cannot promise that, but I will do my best.
If you need to mail me a check that is fine. Just make it out to GPS Class of 1986 and send to Sally Michaud, 1003 Endicott Street, Chattanooga, TN 37405. Message me so I know it is coming.
I SO want this event to happen! I think we are at a great age where we can just chill and catch up! This event is for anyone who was ever a part of our GPS Class of 1986 regardless of how long, so pass this around in case I missed someone. Significant Others are welcome but not required!

It's official! Our 35 year Reunion will be at The Daily Ration! Great location with indoor/outdoor spaces and terrific food. Saturday, September 18, 2021. Planning has commenced and I will know more about costs and RSVP deadlines by mid July.
