We finished. Four books later, I don’t think the biggest lesson was found inside any single chapter.

It was learning to slow down enough to think.

To ask questions.
To notice details.
To talk about hard choices.
To disagree respectfully.
To imagine someone else’s experience.

That’s the kind of education I’m trying to build at Headway. Not just stronger students. Thoughtful people.

Ask your child what 7x8 is. Time how long it takes. If they're counting on their fingers - that's a fluency problem. And fluency is fixable.

My son is homeschooled. I see him everyday.
