Today we celebrate more than graduation—we celebrate the beginning of five new careers in dentistry! 🦷🎓

Over the past 8 weeks, these students have put in the hard work, gained hands-on experience, and grown in both knowledge and confidence. We couldn’t be more proud of everything they’ve accomplished.

The best part? Three of our five graduates had already secured positions and started working in dental offices before graduation day! 👏 That’s exactly what our program is designed to do—prepare students to step confidently into the dental field.

Yesterday was a huge milestone for our students! 🦷✨

For the very first time, they stepped into the role of a dental assistant by sitting chairside and assisting the doctor during real patient procedures.

There’s nothing quite like hands-on experience. While textbooks provide the foundation, confidence is built by actually doing the work. Our goal is for every student to graduate feeling prepared, capable, and ready to walk into their first dental assisting job with confidence.

From learning the basics to assisting with real patients, it’s incredible to watch their growth in just a few short weeks. We couldn’t be more proud of how far they’ve come, and we know they’re only getting started!

🦷 Week 2 is in full swing at Competitive Edge Dental Assisting Academy!

Our students are building on everything they learned during Week 1 with hands-on practical testing and skill development. This week also marks the start of one of the most exciting parts of the program—Dental Radiology!

Students take turns being both the dental assistant and the patient while learning to take diagnostic X-rays. Not only does this help them master proper techniques, but it also gives them a firsthand understanding of what their future patients will experience in the dental chair.

Hands-on learning. Real-world experience. Confidence-building every step of the way. 💙
