Imagine working ALL WEEK LONG, teaching the BEST students in the world…

The final bell rings, and a THREE-DAY WEEKEND is officially calling your name!

But wait… there’s ONE more thing you have to do before you can leave.

The mission was simple:

CATCH THE BALLOON = YOU CAN GO HOME.
MISS IT = YOU’RE STAYING AT SCHOOL.

We gave our teachers, staff, and a few special guests ONE mission… and let’s just say, everybody didn’t make it out.

After our learning walk-through, where we received wonderful feedback, it was time to see who could handle one final challenge.

So… who do you think is STILL at CDES?!

CDES SHORTS: Bunny Rescue Edition! 🐰

You NEVER know what’s going to happen at CDES! 😂 Our 2nd graders found a surprise visitor hopping around the playground—a rabbit we named him Peter. 🐰 Our Assistant Principal and Instructional Coach jumped into action and made sure our furry friend got a safe ride to the zoo. 🐯💛

Just another day at CDES… where even the playground has plot twists! 😂

August gave us some AMAZING memories! 🐯✨ As we step into September, we’re looking back at some of the hands-on learning that happened in E-Lab with Ms. Smoker!

Our Kindergarten Tigers put their creativity to the test by building towers, while our 1st graders took on the challenge of building bridges — learning the engineering behind how structures are designed and built!

Building, creating, problem-solving, and having FUN while learning!

September, we’re ready for you!
