**Dear Chattahoochee Elementary School Parents and Families,**

As we begin a new school year, we want to take a moment to remind you that **your involvement in your child's education is one of the greatest gifts you can give them.** Research consistently shows that when parents are actively involved in their children's education, students are more likely to earn higher grades, attend school regularly, develop positive behavior, and graduate with confidence and success.

At Chattahoochee Elementary, we believe that **education is a partnership between home, school and community.** Teachers provide instruction, but parents provide the encouragement, support, and motivation that inspire children to believe in themselves. Something as simple as attending Open House, checking homework, reading together, communicating with teachers, or volunteering at school sends a powerful message to your child: **"Your education matters, and so do you."**

Children notice when their parents show up. Your presence at school events builds their confidence, increases their self-esteem, and encourages them to work harder because they know they have a strong support system behind them. Every smile, every conversation with a teacher, and every event you attend helps create a positive learning environment where your child can thrive.

I want to thank all my guests who were able to place/attend the Tea & Donuts with Cops to begin a change that will be/Is challenging! This is beyond just Policing the community it's about showing up providing information to retrieve resources that once was to make it possible again! Yet, complacent behavior and negative tongues are not warranted! This is what keeps a community stagnant. Everyone's perception becomes clear with open dialogue and understanding( Education)! In Order for change to happen, you have to face tough open conversations. Everything in life is not always black and white once you look beyond the peripheral view of accountability on all parts. We all are Human!! To be able to have such an amazing dialogue between community and officers was Amazing. More to come!!! Videos will not be posted just this wrap up photo! It is often said that change begins with a single step. At times, we find ourselves talking about the changes we want to see in our neighborhoods, yet true progress requires action, participation, and a willingness to step outside of old behaviors and perceptions.

Intelligent Minds Smooth Me CafƩ is proud to invite you to attend **Tea & Donuts with a Cop**, a community event designed to bridge the gap between our citizens and local law enforcement. This event provides an opportunity for community members to get to know the officers who serve and protect our neighborhoods, while allowing them to get to know the people they serve.

Building stronger communities starts with communication, understanding, and trust. We cannot expect change if we remain on the sidelines. We must be willing to engage, listen, and work together toward a brighter future for our children, families, and neighbors.

Tea & Donuts with a Cop is more than an eventā€”it is a movement toward unity. It is an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and foster relationships that can positively impact our community for years to come.
