Today’s student spotlight is Maggie, who’s been with us for two years. Referred by Eva, Maggie brings her passion every weekend, and we love having her here.

Shes shares her story here—why she started and what keeps her going. We’re grateful to provide a space where she thrives. And once again, we wish all the moms a very happy Mother’s Day

Thailand has been an amazing ride! For some of my students, it was their first time here, and they had a blast. We trained hard, but we also took time to explore. One thing I’d always wanted to do was visit that monkey-filled city—so we did! This is just one of many amazing moments. Sharing this journey with my team made it all the more special!

Coach Victor offered a new lens in today's class: when an opponent "shells up"—hands up, guarding—don’t just see a solid wall.

He taught them to see a big box with triangles, those being the openings under the elbows or at the angles. Instead of straight-on strikes, we learned to exploit those geometric openings.

That shift in perspective was a game-changer!

Coach Robert Lemus demonstrates two variations.

First: jab-cross, dip right to load the cross, throw it, leave it as a blinder, then kick the lead leg and exit right.

Second: jab-cross, weave right (loading that side), come up, step left while throwing the right hook, and then kick the opponent’s rear leg
