✨AN IMMERSIVE STILL LIFE EXPERIENCE WITH DANIEL KEYS

This September, the Creative Arts Center is honored to welcome acclaimed artist Daniel Keys for an extraordinary four-day workshop devoted to the timeless beauty of floral still life painting.

Each morning begins with Daniel’s masterful demonstrations in oil, revealing his celebrated alla prima approach and the subtle decisions that bring paintings to life. Participants will then work directly from fresh floral and fruit arrangements, receiving individualized instruction throughout the week.

Through focused study of composition, drawing, color relationships, value, and edge control, artists will deepen both their technical skills and artistic vision in an inspiring studio environment.

For painters seeking meaningful growth and the rare opportunity to learn from a distinguished contemporary master, this workshop promises an unforgettable experience.

Ready to take your seascape painting to the next level? Join us for an exclusive 3-day workshop, Painting The Essence of the Sea, Plein Air, hosted at the Creative Arts Center in Chatham.

Whether you’re looking to master light, capture atmospheric movement, or simplify complex ocean views, signature ASMA artist Karen Blackwood will guide you step-by-step—from in-studio value and design sketches to live plein air painting along the coastal landscape.
