Our preschool classrooms have been getting creative, curious, and hands-on with their apple-themed learning! From counting and measuring apples to sink-or-float experiments, apple stamping, practicing the letter A, and strengthening fine motor skills with tweezers and pom-pom “apples,” our youngest Hawks have been learning through play and discovery!

🍎 Math, science, literacy, art, and more, all wrapped up in one delicious unit!

**Curious to see how our youngest Hawks learn and grow?** Join us for our Open House on October 16 to explore our Early Childhood program and experience CDS in action! We’d love to welcome you to the nest. 💚

Making math interactive! 🔢

Second graders are building place-value skills through hands-on learning! Students rolled dice to create three-digit numbers, built them with base-ten blocks, and practiced standard form, expanded form, and place value.

Math is always more fun when we can build, explore, and learn! 💚

Our buddies are back! 💚

All of our buddy groups met for the first time this year, kicking off another year of connection, friendship, and fun. From getting to know one another to sharing plenty of smiles, it was a wonderful start to another special CDS tradition.

We can’t wait to see these buddy relationships grow throughout the year! 🦅

Last week, Mr. Patti Balloon Twisting brought the magic (and the balloons!) to camp as we retold classic a fairy tale in the silliest way imaginable. From creative storytelling to incredible balloon creations, there were smiles, laughs, and lots of imagination all around. 💚

Thanks for making our camp adventure one to remember, Mr. Patti! 🎉

Nature Explorers Week at CDS Summer got even more exciting with a special visit from Swift Farms! 🐐🌿☀️

Our campers loved meeting the animals, learning about farm life, and getting an up-close look at some furry friends. Experiences like these help bring our weekly themes to life and create unforgettable summer memories!

There’s still plenty of summer fun ahead — we have a few spots remaining in the final four weeks of camp! For more information and to register, click the link below. ⬇️
