🎶❤️ Making Music & Making a Difference! ❤️🎶

On August 27, members of our GIS 6th Grade Band shared their musical talents with the residents of The Villas of South Park in Chatham!

We are so proud of these young musicians for stepping outside the classroom to perform for others and give back to our community. Their willingness to share their talents brought music, smiles, and joy to the residents—and reminded us that leadership is about using what you have to make a positive difference. ❤️🖤

Way to lead, Titans! 🎺🥁🎵

🔎 The Lost & Found Team is hard at work at GIS! 👕🧢

Our amazing Lost & Found team is helping keep our school organized and making sure lost items have a chance to find their way home! ❤️

If your child has misplaced something, remind them to check the Lost & Found cart and the color-coded clothing tables.

Great job, team! We appreciate you helping our Titans keep things organized and looking out for one another! 👏

🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ Superheroes at GIS! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

Today, our 5th graders had some very special visitors during lunch and recess—GHS Superheroes! These high school student-athletes spent time talking, laughing, playing, and connecting with our students, and it was clear that our Titans were thrilled to have them here!

Our students really looked up to their high school mentors. One student even asked Mrs. Creighton, our assistant principal, “When can they come back and play with us again?” ❤️

We are so proud of these former GIS Leaders who are now GHS Superheroes, using their time and talents to encourage and inspire younger students. What a wonderful example of leadership in action!

Thank you to our former GIS Leaders and now GHS Superheroes for being such positive role models for our students. We appreciate you! Keep leading the way! ❤️🖤

If your child is interested in participating in a week-long Superheroes leadership session, please read the information below!
