Last Day Fun!

Our last morning walk, awards assembly, dance party, and plenty of mom-cringe jokes made for the perfect way to celebrate our final day together.

We laughed, learned, grew, and became a classroom family this year. Watching these students gain confidence, show kindness, work hard, and support one another has been one of the greatest joys.

I loved every minute with this class and will miss them more than they know. Thank you for making third grade such a special year. 💙

We had our Because of Winn-Dixie novel celebration today, and it was everything we hoped it would be. From themed food and sweet dogs to music, laughter, and hands-on activities, students truly got to step inside the story we shared together.

A huge thank you to the Chatfield Education Foundation for helping bring scenes from the novel to life and making this special day possible for our students. What a perfect way to celebrate reading, community, and the memories we made together this year.

It was ROARasaurus! 🦖💚

We were working quietly in our classroom when suddenly we heard the most outrageous ROAR echo through the our room. Everyone jumped in shock… and then burst out laughing! It quickly became one of those unforgettable moments that had us all laughing together.

Of course, we couldn’t keep the fun to ourselves, so we passed the ROAR along to others. 😄

A little laughter, a lot of smiles, and the perfect way to celebrate our final Friday of the 2025–26 school year!

A morning of wonder, observation, and discovery at Savannah Springs. 🌿🔍

Our third graders explored nature through bird watching, journaling, using their senses, and learning from incredible volunteers who shared their knowledge and passion for the outdoors. From binoculars and bird calls to quiet moments noticing bugs, grass, and the wind… students were fully engaged in the experience around them.

These hands-on learning moments are the ones they remember. 💚

Thank you to everyone who helped make our Savannah Springs field trip such a meaningful day for our students!

Our Student Council wrapped up the year with one final adventure together! 💚

These student leaders spent the year helping make our school and community a better place to live and learn through Read. Deed. Move. From organizing events and helping others to leading by example each and every day, their impact was felt all year long.

To celebrate their hard work, we spent the day playing at the park, sharing pizza together, stopping for ice cream cones, and finishing with lots of laughs and energy at Air Insanity.

Read. Deed. Move. was a success this year, and it truly could not have happened without the dedication, leadership, and heart of these students. We are so proud of the way they showed kindness, teamwork, and school spirit all year long.

Thank you, Student Council, for leading by example and making Chatfield Elementary such a special place.

Cheers, high fives, pom poms, and dancing filled the halls as we sent off our Chatfield Special Athletic Team to Winona!

What a day! ☀️🏃‍♀️🏅

Track & Field Day 2026 was filled with smiles, encouragement, determination, teamwork, and SO much fun. From the starting line to the final event, our students showed incredible effort and heart all day long.

A week of learning all about light! 🔦✨

This week we explored how light travels, reflects, bends, and helps us see the world around us. From laser mazes and flashlight investigations to hands-on teamwork challenges, students spent the week thinking like scientists and problem-solvers.
