Thank you to everyone who joined us for our final Family Faith Night of the summer this past Wednesday at Christ Victorious Lutheran Church! It was a special evening together as we looked ahead to the start of a new school year.

We spent time talking about the different vocations God gives each of us and how, even though those vocations may look different, we are all part of the body of Christ. We also shared a special time of blessings for students, teachers, families, and others preparing for the year ahead.

Family Faith Nights may be finished for the summer, but there is still plenty happening this fall at St. John's! From Sunday School and Sunday morning Bible studies to groups gathering throughout the week, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved and stay connected!

St. John’s members are invited to attend two informational town hall meetings regarding the proposed merger of Trinity Lutheran Church of Carver into St. John’s.

These gatherings will be a chance to hear more about the proposal, ask questions, and take part in the conversation ahead of the Special Voters’ Meeting in September.

We’ll have a special chance to pray for and support our teachers and staff during worship this Sunday at 8:30 and 10:00 AM with our Teacher & Staff Dedication. And keep an eye out for this year’s “Fix Our Eyes on Jesus” theme on the new backpack tags too! 🎒✝️

Love INC has extended their school supply drive, so there’s still time to donate! ✏️

St. John’s is still collecting washable thin markers (8-count packs), plastic pocket folders (no prongs), and yellow highlighters. We especially need thin washable markers and yellow highlighters right now.

Donations can be dropped off in the collection bins outside the school office until Sunday, August 16. Thank you for helping support District 112 students as they get ready for the school year!
