Jonathan Montessori School Jonathan Montessori School has a 6.5 acre campus nestled on the corner of Bavaria and Hundertmark Road in Chaska, Minnesota.

We are proud to provide an authentic Montessori learning environment for children ages 16 months through Kindergarten. Jonathan Montessori is a non-profit organization. ☀️ 🌈 What a summer it has been! 🌈 ☀️

Our friends at JMS have filled their summer days with riding bikes, splashing in the water, and digging in the mud! From messy play in the sunshine to long walks in the rain, we’ve loved watching our little learners grow! 💛

As we say goodbye to summer and get ready for a new school year, we’re feeling grateful for every giggle, hug, and sweet moment. Thank you for making this summer so special!

The University of Minnesota Master Gardener Program came to JMS to lead them in a lesson of loving the Earth 🌎 The children enjoyed planting on the Children’s House playground, botany books, and some seed exploration!

Happy *belated* Earth Day! Help support the planet and JMS by saving, reusing and donating your clean plastic and paper bags for the Annual JMS Garage Sale. Collecting now-May 8th.

It’s also that time of year for a spring clean of our homes. Please consider donating items you no longer need to the upcoming JMS garage sale fundraiser and support the school and community.

Left over donations after the sale go to a local nonprofit providing direct service to the homeless community and families in need.

🌿✨ Spring is calling… and it’s time to get our hands a little dirty! ✨🌿

Mark your calendars for Spring Clean-Up Day on May 30th! 🗓️

Join us as we come together to refresh and beautify our school grounds—prepping everything for a wonderful summer ahead. We’ll be:
🌱 Cleaning up garden beds
🌸 Spreading mulch
🏖️ Refreshing sand areas
🌼 Tidying up and bringing new life to our outdoor spaces

This is a fun, feel-good way to connect as a community, and many hands truly make light work! Whether you can stay for a little or a while, we’d love to have you there.
