In nearly 50 years of programing, Nature's Classroom, Inc has provided unique experiences to over 1 million students and teachers. Giving them the opportunity to experience education from another perspective: outside the walls of the classroom! We help students become inspired to learn with inquiry-based, experiential education in a wide variety of subjects and activities. We offer residential pro

grams up to a week long and day programs, all entirely customized to your school's academic objectives. All classes and activities are tied to state standards, Common Core, and Next Generation Science Standards. Many activities have a strong focus in STEM education. Call or email today to set up a visit for your staff or a trial program for your students. Discount programs and financial aid are available for qualifying schools.

Next week, we kick off leadership training for our Fall 2026 season, and this team is ready to dig into the why behind everything we do.

They’ll be building community, growing together, embracing the messy moments, and helping bring the mission of Nature’s Classroom to life for every educator and student who walks through our doors.

We appreciate the heart, energy, and purpose these humans bring to the work. The growth starts with them, and this season, we’re building something kind of iconic. 💚

Fall is almost here, and our leaders are getting ready. 🍂

Two members of our leadership team, Caitlin and Kyle, recently attended Project Adventure’s Emerging Leaders Retreat, where they explored how trust, engagement, accountability, and shared experiences can help teams thrive.

They challenged themselves, learned together, laughed a lot, and returned with new tools to support our staff and strengthen the Nature’s Classroom experience this fall.

The ultimate Nature’s Classroom review?

After years of creating unforgettable moments at Nature’s Classroom, you return to help new students find their own.💚

Vines and Jacob helped shape the NC experience for hundreds of students as educators. Now they’re back as chaperones, continuing the cycle of curiosity, connection, and growth that has defined Nature’s Classroom for 53 years.

The salamanders matter.
The muddy boots matter.
The “aha!” moments matter.
But it’s the people who make the MAGIC🪄.

💚 Some people leave their mark on Nature’s Classroom. Others become part of its story. Thank you Vines and Jacob for being both.
