Before Jesus was getting ready to leave His friends, the disciples, He wanted to have one special dinner with them. Back then, people wore sandals and walked on dusty roads, so washing someone’s feet was a kind way to welcome them and show love and care. Jesus washed His disciples’ feet to show them how much He loved them and to teach them that serving others is important.

Yesterday in Chapel, we followed Jesus’ example. We washed our children’s feet to show them kindness, love, and that it has been a joy to care for and serve them. Now it is time for them to begin a new adventure.

Go shine your bright lights, sweet children of God! We also prayed for health, happiness, and protection as you go out into the world. 💡❤️💡🙏🏼💡❤️💡
