Materials Research Society at UVA

Materials Research Society at UVA MRS is composed of both graduate and undergraduate students with faculty adviser Prof.

The Materials Research Society is a student-led organization that fosters an environment for collaboration and open exchange of ideas across all scientific disciplines and welcoming students at all points of their academic careers. The MRS chapter at UVA is involved with:
- Putting together social events on campus
- Bringing industry and academic speakers to campus
- Helping provide resources for attending MRS conferences
- Facilitating materials-based community outreach events
- Developing innovative ways to get the community of materials researchers here at UVA together to share their ideas and work. Jerry Floro.
