Happy GameDay! Avoid the Virginia Football traffic with your endorsement that fall Friday nights are for our high schools by heading to Harrisonburg and supporting Monticello's varsity football and cheer teams at Rocktown H.S. Go Mustangs!

(For those unfamiliar with Rocktown, it's Harrisonburg city's newest school and is located next to I-81 just south of JMU's campus.)

The aftermath of 9/11 transcended age, gender, geographic, and even political differences. Patriotic sentiment surged, and while Americans had a shared sense of anguish, 9/11/01 was followed by the spirit of public unity. With respect to those whose lives were altered forever 25 years ago today, our military, first responders, emergency services, and health care professionals are appreciated today and every day.

Congrats to Evie & Erin for their recognition on the final day of the Jefferson District Volleyball Tournament. The #3 seed Mustangs fell to #1 Western Albemarle in the 3rd Place contest, while Fluvanna defeated Albemarle in the championship contest.
