March Madness - PTO Style is underway, and THE FRESHMEN are coming in hot!! Not only was a freshman family the first to donate, they also started with the largest donation point ($31)! Class of 2029 for the win??!!

🟠Thank you for donating your time, items, money, signs, and delicious food to show CHS and Lugo teachers and staff how much we appreciate them.

⚫️We will be celebrating our CHS staff again in MAY, so be on the lookout for ways to get involved with that {Don’t wait until a specific week to show a CHS staff member how much you care! A kind message or smile can go a long way. }

The CHS PTO brought the custodians a small token of appreciation a few weeks ago, but don't let it stop there! We'd like to thank the custodians for all they did to help our CHS family return to school after the ice storm. If you see these individuals, please thank them for keeping CHS a safe and healthy place for students and staff EVERY day!

BLACK KNIGHT NATION… HEAR THIS DECREE!

A mighty winter storm has swept across our kingdom this weekend, covering the land in ice and snow. After careful watch from the castle walls…

🏰 Charlottesville City Schools will be CLOSED on Monday, January 26. 🏰

The roads remain treacherous, the cold unforgiving, and the safety of our Knights comes first.

🌨️ This is not the end of the story…
We will continue to monitor conditions and will announce updates for Tuesday as soon as possible.

CHS PTO's FIRST ANNUAL Harvest Dinner!

The PTO invites ALL families to a Thanksgiving potluck! Come share your favorite dish and enjoy good food and great company as we celebrate the season of gratitude together.

We will approve the PTO budget and previous minutes, kickoff our fundraising season, hear updates from our committees, and fill the school with gratitude grams! Feel free to bring younger siblings!
