Founded in 1996, Charlottesville Catholic School serves students in Junior Kindergarten through 8th.

At Charlottesville Catholic School, our JK through 8th grade students receive challenging academics while learning in a nurturing, supportive environment. We strive to instill a lifelong appreciation of the gifts of faith and knowledge while our students discover their own gifts and talents.

Rain couldn't stop us ! We hosted our very first ever Indoor Field Day and it was one for the books! From dance offs and corn hole, to indoor mini golf , STEAM build challenges , glow-in-the-dark fun , and popsicles — our students had an AMAZING day filled with laughter, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.

A huge THANK YOU to Ms. Varney, our incredible faculty, and all of the parent and student volunteers who helped make this day such a success. Your energy, creativity, and hard work turned a rainy day into something truly AWESOME!

☀️🎉 We’ve officially kicked off summer! 🎉☀️

Before heading into a well-deserved break, our faculty wrapped up the final Professional Development Day of the 2025–2026 school year. Together, we analyzed school data, celebrated accomplishments, reflected on growth, and began planning for an even brighter future.

Summer may be here, but the work of preparing exceptional learning experiences for our students continues. We are excited about the opportunities ahead and can't wait to welcome everyone back for another amazing school year!

Wishing our CCS families a fun, safe, and relaxing summer!

Last week, several of our Middle School students were recognized for their outstanding achievements. Cassidy F. received an award presented by the Sons of the American Revolution, and Brianna B. received an award from the Daughters of the American Revolution. We also celebrated two art honors: Karrington R. received the Jordan Art Award, and Elizabeth Whittle was selected to attend the Reflections Regional Governor’s School for students gifted in the visual arts this summer. Congratulations to all of these students on their well-deserved accomplishments! 🎉

After Mass this past Thursday, our 8th graders were recognized by Father John with a special blessing. They were also honored with a beautiful song performed by our Kindergarteners and received handmade flowers created especially for them. It was a meaningful moment celebrating their journey and the special impact they have had on our school community.
