Inter-Fraternity Council at UVA

The IFC has been made aware of the prejudiced and culturally insensitive attire worn by brothers of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity this Sunday afternoon. The IFC condemns these actions and any others that appropriate cultures. The IFC is working with the chapter leadership of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life at UVA to investigate this matter and sanction the identified parties.

The Inter-Fraternity Council is deeply saddened by the loss of Otto Warmbier, a loving member of the University Community and Theta Chi. We wish that you keep Otto’s friends, family, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. There will be a candlelight vigil in his memory at 9 o’clock tonight in the amphitheater for anyone who wishes to gather and remember Otto.
