Meet Jordan Perry, Program Director at the Music Resource Center!

Jordan has spent more than a decade helping musicians grow their skills and confidence. As both an accomplished performer and experienced music educator, he's passionate about creating opportunities for young artists to learn, create, and find their voice.🎶

Whether he's mentoring students, leading programs, or performing with local bands, Jordan's impact reaches far beyond the stage. We're grateful for everything he brings to the MRC and the Charlottesville music community! Thanks for all that you do, Jordan!🌟🎉

Meet Nate Scholz, one of our Certified Instructors and Audio Engineers!

Nate joined the MRC in 2023 as a part of the MRC certified program to teach live sound. He holds a MA in Audio Technology from American University as well as a BA in History and Music Industry from James Madison University.

He has worked in the live events side of the music industry since 2014 and now can be found working front of house, at venues like the Southern Cafe and Music Hall, Jefferson Theater, and Pro Re Nata Brewery, among countless others. He also performs and tours as a part of the DC area band Soul Meets Body!🎸

Nate, you rock. We're grateful for you.

Leadership Spotlight!🎶 Meet Alice Fox, Executive Director of the MRC.

For more than a decade, Alice Fox has been helping guide the Music Resource Center's mission of empowering youth through music. After joining MRC in 2013, she became Executive Director in 2016 and has helped lead the organization's growth ever since.

With a strong background in psychology and child development, Alice is dedicated to creating opportunities where young people can learn, create, and thrive.

We're SO grateful for her leadership and commitment to the MRC community! Thanks for all that you do, Alice! 🎶
