Interested in Gardening? Turnip Here Weekly UVA’s Student Garden is a place where both students and University neighbors can learn about raising vegetables, herbs and local wildflowers. The fresh food can go home with volunteers or be sent to a food pantry.

UVA is calling for volunteers for graduation weekend! Volunteers will receive free parking & a thank you picnic in return for helping work information booths and remote viewing sites. Sign up is open at our website 5/14 & training will take place via zoom on Monday at 12!

Our next Hoos Serving is Patrick Morris (he/him/his), a 4th-year majoring in biology (with Spanish/biomedical engineering minors). Patrick has been involved in a confidential crisis helpline, the Pediatrics for Emergency Physicians Network, Remote Area Medical, Hearts for the Homeless, & local middle schools, amongst more. His goal is to become a pediatric oncologist, &, during his gap years, he will be working in a cancer research lab and volunteering as an EMT.
