Staff Appreciation Week The PTO is organizing a nacho bar on May 5th and a trail mix bar on May 7 in celebration of Staff Appreciation Week. Please send in items to the front office by 5/1. Please note what you are purchasing so we have a nice variety! Thank you for your support!

The next LMS dance is happening on Friday, April 17. The PTO is looking for volunteers to assist with selling concessions and monitoring halls and doors. Please use the link below to sign up as a volunteer if you are available.
April 17th LMS Dance The PTO supports LMS by selling concessions and monitoring halls/doors during the dance. The dance is 4:00-5:30pm in the cafeteria and the volunteers are needed 3:45-6:00pm. Please let us know if you have any questions!

The LMS PTO wishes everyone a wonderful Spring Break!!
LMS had a visit from Dr. Haas this week. Here is the post and video from ACPS:
“Dr. Haas had a great visit to Lakeside Middle School on March 31! From a sixth-grade drone photo on the blacktop to students enjoying the sunshine, it was a beautiful start to the day ☀️
Inside, he explored CTE spaces preparing for the upcoming GoTEC program, bringing hands-on learning in robotics, healthcare, and more, and visited classrooms where students were engaged and thriving.
Lakeside was full of energy, learning, and welcoming smiles all around!”
The Albemarle County Supervisors are holding a Community Budget Town Hall at LMS tonight.
Let them know that our community cares about our public schools.
