🇮🇳 UVA NC Fellow Program's Outbound Program in Dharamshala, INDIA! Our fellows explored the Tibetan community in McLeod Ganj and met artisans and entrepreneurs who are working hard to preserve Tibetan culture and traditional craftsmanship.

They visited Nyamlae, where traditional Tibetan rugs, clothing, and prayer flags are still made entirely by hand, and learned about both the beauty of these crafts and the challenges of keeping them alive for future generations. We also met local entrepreneurs and the inspiring founder of Pema Bakery.

In the evening, they launched one of six our Entrepreneurship Workshop with many Tibetan entrepreneurs. Through activities centered on the Business Model Canvas, participants connected, exchanged ideas, and began building a supportive learning community.

A wonderful start to a week of cultural exchange, leadership development, and entrepreneurship.
