These 3rd graders had fun making their own ice cream sundaes this afternoon, courtesy of the JV PTO! They got to enjoy their reward for raising more than $300 for the PTO's "Change Challenge." Way to go!

JV Families! Here’s an easy way to support our school and every Charlottesville City School! From March 11 through July 31, when you fill up at the Spirit Pump at The Market at Preston, 1¢ per gallon goes directly to the Charlottesville City-wide PTO Fund. That funding supports academic enrichment, teacher grants, field trips, and school programming across the district. Let’s show up for our schools and help make this fundraiser a success! For GivingTuesday we invite you to show some extra love to our amazing Jackson-Via teachers! The PTO is raising funds to support Teacher Grants to provide materials and creative projects that bring learning to life, as well as Teacher Perks, the small but meaningful “thank yous” that make their days a little easier and brighter. This breakfast spread is just one small way to show how much we appreciate our JV teachers and staff! And we look forward to hopefully seeing all of our JV community this evening for our literacy night and pajama party from 5:30-7!
