Richard Ovenden, Bodley’s Librarian, is again offering his online Rare Book School course, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟭𝟴𝟰𝟯, this summer.
This 12-hour, synchronous online course is scheduled to take place from 20–24 July. The course will appeal to anyone with an interest in the impact that the introduction of photography had on book history. The class will delve into the “photobook” phenomenon, referring often to collections from Oxford’s Bodleian Libraries.
