We’re excited to spotlight Ms. Lisa, who brings 15 years of experience working with young children and a heart full of care to our classrooms. With her CPR and First Aid certifications, she helps create a safe and nurturing environment where our littlest learners can thrive.

Ms. Lisa loves bringing music time to life—singing, clapping, and encouraging interaction with every child. She also enjoys exploring touch-and-feel books with infants, supporting their early sensory development in meaningful ways.

✨Curriculum Highlight ✨

This week, our focus was on developing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination through purposeful, hands-on exploration.

What began as a simple building invitation inside quickly evolved into something even more meaningful. Our two’s class chose to take this experience outdoors—gathering rocks of various shapes and sizes to create and construct their own unique structures. 🪨🌿

With each rock they selected, positioned, and balanced, children were strengthening the small muscles in their hands, refining coordination, and practicing patience and precision. Working with natural materials adds an extra layer of challenge—no two pieces are the same—encouraging problem-solving, critical thinking, and adaptability.

This is what developmentally appropriate learning looks like. Experiences that are open-ended, engaging, and rooted in real-world exploration allow children to take the lead while building essential foundational skills.

And just as importantly, they’re building confidence, independence, and a deeper connection to their environment along the way.
