Grounding Breath Exercise:
Gather yourself and practice this Breath Exercise for immediate grounding so that when you need it in an emergency, it will be familiar and at your service. Even 1 minute will make a difference; more is great!
1. Stop what you're doing, find a quiet spot.
2. Shut your mouth. Slow down your breathing.
3. Hands on lower belly; feel it expand and contract with each inhale and exhale.
4. Take smaller breaths and pause after exhale, do your best not to "grab" the next inhale. It will come naturally - it always does. TRUST.
5. Pay attention. This moment is All. There. Is.
