The Black Knights brought the energy on Friday night! The CHS Black Knights football team earned a 14-9 victory over Rocktown in its first home game of the season. Gibson Duolo scored two touchdowns to lead CHS, which got a major boost from a huge student section crowd and a loud CHS Sideline Cheer squad. The Black Knights are now 2-1 on the season and will host Jefferson District opponent Albemarle this Friday (September 25) for the Homecoming Game. Our elementary school students are discovering new learning tools, both inside and outside of the classroom. In Ms. Johnson’s STEM lab at Greenbrier Elementary School, students are learning proper hand-tool identification and safety protocols as they work to become tool certified. Outside of the lab, they are using magnifying glasses and microscopes to explore and investigate the outdoors.
