This 16-week, 64-hour program includes both classroom sessions and hands-on experience in distilleries. At the end of the program, you will be eligible to sit for the General Certificate of Distilling Exam offered by the Institute of Brewing & Distilling. Tuition does not include cost of certification exam.

Local breweries make beer to benefit Central Virginia veterans charity Veteran-owned Decipher Brewing Company of Charlottesville teamed up with Devils Backbone Brewing to create a beer that would benefit Welcome Home Well, a local nonprofit helping veterans.

This class will take an in-depth look at all processes of beer brewing from start to finish. Must be 21 years old to register. Class held at Wild Wolf Brewery, Nellysford, VA.
