Theological Horizons proudly presents renowned New York Times opinion writer David French and best selling author Nancy French as the 2026 Scoper Lecturers in Christian Thought, featuring music by Paul Zach of Porter’s Gate.
In their conversational lecture, “Telling the Truth: Stories of Courage, Conflict and Connection,” Nancy and David will recount the personal and political costs of speaking inconvenient truths – and testify to the promise of courageous honesty. This conversation is for anyone who longs for authenticity, boldness and hope amidst fracture and conflict.

Spread the word! We are recruiting our next cohort of Fellows! Horizons Fellows are rising 4th years who are paired with a mentor in their field of study. Perkins Fellows are 2nd-4th years who serve weekly at a non-profit. All engage with questions of vocational discernment. Pass on to anyone who might be interested, or apply yourself!! The deadline to submit an application is Monday, March 9 right after spring break. Check out our Fellows Blog on the TH website to hear some fantastic stories directly from your peers of faith, community, growth, and discovery!!

Students and Friends!!! Come to the Faith & Work Lunch this Friday, Feb 20th, in the Bonhoeffer House, from 1-2pm! RSVP is required — and YOU are invited! Visit the “Upcoming Events” link in our bio and click on “Faith & Work Lunch: Seeking the Peace of Richmond” to RSVP.
We will discuss the interplay between faith, work, and life. Each semester we feature guest speakers with leadership experience from different career paths, who bring authentic stories about seeking a meaningful life. This program runs in partnership with our Fellows Program & Vintage Lunch and provides candid conversations between the guests, students, and Fellows. We can’t wait to see you there!!!
