🚑 Applications are NOW OPEN for the Piedmont Virginia Community College EMS-Paramedic Program!

Ready to take the next step in your EMS career?

Our hybrid Paramedic Program is designed for working Virginia EMTs who want to earn their paramedic certification while balancing work, family, and life. Students also have the option to complete the coursework required to earn an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in EMS-Paramedic.

One of the advantages of our program is that the first semester includes the Advanced EMT (AEMT) curriculum, giving eligible students the opportunity to test for Virginia AEMT certification while still enrolled in paramedic school. Advance your skills sooner and put them to work as you continue your education!!

PVCC EMS full time faculty got in-serviced on our new high fidelity manikin, Trauma Hal. We are happy to add another high fidelity simulator to our program and a huge benefit to our students for their paramedic education.
